Meet your PTO Officers....

Our PTO meetings are held the last TUESDAY of every MONTH at 6:30 p.m. in the LIBRARY.

Meetings are attended by parents, your principal and/or assistant principal and teachers to serve as a platform for ideas and coordination of events to benefit Shields Elementary school children.  All are welcome!
 

Can't make it to a meeting? Here are 10 things you can do instead:

0. Devote 1 hour a week to mentoring a student (with HOSTS program prepared lesson plans)
0. Be a sponsor and/or participant in our Dolphin Dash 5K Run and Family Walk.
0. Take a lunch duty shift in the cafeteria.
0. Register your grocery store cards.
0. Help with E.B.S. activities like ice cream parties.
0. Cut out Dolphin Dollars from sheets.
0. Help maintain/landscape Shield's grounds (donate mulch or flowers...) 
0. Help prepare classroom materials for teachers.
0. Clip and donate "Box Tops" year-round.
0. Walk or jog with your child to raise money during annual Shields Tech Walk.
